People from Iceland were involved in the work., Geologists invited from New Zealand and Turkey, laboratories, drilling specialists, local and foreign scientists․ Three drilling platforms were built. The work was carried out at an altitude of more than 3,000 m above sea level, for which a campsite for 50 people was built with basalt paths and night lighting, an office, a laboratory, satellite communications, a multifunctional kitchen and a medical service center equipped with medical equipment and medical staff working around the clock.
